The Non Hemi Mongoose kit comes with the following

5.270 long aluminum pushrods

26 pound springs to be installed at .850" tall

.062 thick valve spring shims

Champion rocker arms (May need to trim adjuster screws to fit under the baffled valve cover, see pictures)

6256 ARC 3.328 long billet rod (piston will be .020 in the hole)

ARC 6625 billet non hemi flywheel

Mongoose .272 lift cam

.550 compression height flat top piston kit

Valve cover gasket

Side cover gasket (dowel holes may need to be pushed over the non hemi dowels)

Non hemi .009 thick head gasket

This combination will give you 9.52:1 compression so 87 to 91 octane fuel will be fine (preferably 89-93 octane) and produce roughly 13.5 to 14.25 real hp and about 8000 rpm with a China Vm22 or Nibbi 24mm round slide carburetor with an unported head.

Please be aware that the Mongoose cam should be broken in with the stock valve springs and 1 oz of zinc additive for 20 min. After the initial break in you then swap over to the 26 pound springs set at approximately .850 tall. When this is done, you will surely be able to go out and impress your wife or girlfriend with the pure awesome that you just built using this kit.
