These were made wrong and have a bushing pressed and glued inside to make the correct sizes. They are clearance priced because of that and will not effect the operation of the part.
This prevents overdrive and over travel on the 30 series converters allowing for more top rpm.
Use this with the 146 gram weights and yellow driven spring for even more rpm
